Back to the roots, literally! 🌱

Starting a tech company in conservation is a balancing act. We need to scale solutions globally but it's easy to lose touch with the unique challenges of each local ecosystem amidst startup dynamics. We believe that local communities are key to effective conservation; after all, who knows an ecosystem's challenges better than those who live in and from it?

That's why exploring partnerships with local organizations is not only a learning experience but also a way to reconnect with realities on the ground and gain diverse perspectives. While we can't physically visit every project, learning from leading conservation projects like The Lanka Mangrove Museum Sri Lanka is crucial.

The Lanka Mangrove Museum is the world's first mangrove museum and a key component of the Sri Lanka Mangrove Conservation Project, with inspiring partners like Seacology leading the way with their approach centered on island communities, their ecosystems and cultures.

Mangrove ecosystems are coastal powerhouses, storing carbon at a rate that outperforms even rainforests. On this World Mangrove Day, we celebrate the mangrove guardians around the world working to protect these vital ecosystems and indirectly helping us maintain a better climate balance!
